Within this site I hope to give you a more personal view of the images I’m most proud of.

From my early days drawing in sketchbooks to the present I have always been attracted to a more narrative or storytelling approach to creating art and as an illustrator I therefore have worked primarily for book publishers, creating Children’s Books and book jackets for the Young adult and Juvenile Fiction markets.

One of the enjoyable aspects of my work is the opportunity for continual growth as an artist. For many years I worked only in the traditional mediums of Oil, acrylic and gouache but over the last decade I’ve adjusted my technique to include digital painting as well.  This blend of traditional and digital opens up countless options for creativity and also allows me to hold onto the traditional methods I’ve come to love. I call it my happy medium.
